SELECT PRESS

“Ambitious both musically and conceptually”
Paste Magazine

“There are ambitious bands out there, that make sprawling, ambitious albums, and then there are bands like The Restoration, who go above and beyond simple ambition into something approximating obsession”
No Depression

“This thing comes with a freakin’ book… not just booklet.”
Creative Loafing

"[West is] a wellspring of storytelling...10 tracks ebb and flow between brutally-written images of abandonment and disillusionment and spellbinding poeticism."
B-Sides & Badlands

“The Restoration is a proficient musical ensemble, nimbly connecting various strains of folk and rock, but it’s the bands prickly stories of life in the small-town South that steal the show.”
Mountain Xpress

“The music of Constance ranges from jubilant to yearning and features gorgeous violin, nicely picked banjo and a number of other stringed instruments.”
Twangville

“The Restoration doesn’t make music. Rather the band, which is set to release “Honor the Father,” its second concept album, makes art. Magnificent, enthralling and provocative art.”
The State

“One of the finest and most compelling pieces of music ever produced in the Capital City.”
Free Times

“Eat your heart out, Flannery O'Connor”
